Recently, embedded system is widely used in electronic products, smart instruments and control equipment. with the widespread application of Internet, we are crying for connecting the embedded system with Internet, so as to implement the information's transmission and monitor. Therefore, it is an incontestable trend that the embedded technology and the Internet will combine together. The remote monitor and control system based on Internet is the combination of Information network and control network. It completes the monitor and control tasks based on network, by which the monitoring range can be greatly extended, and moreover the control technology will be more cyberized, more distributed and more open. Now, the remote monitor and control system based on embedded Internet has become the hot point on the industrial control researching filed.Based on the current development of embedded Internet, CAN bus and uClinux operating system, the essay carries out the design of the whole system, accomplishes the hardware media and software. This remote monitor and control system can operate very well together in the laboratory. Second, adapting for the command of the real-time data transmission on the industrial control system, the essay researches the real-time capabilities for CAN network and uClinux operating system, and puts forward the improved conceives.The essay arranged as following:At first, the essay introduces the related technology in this essay: CAN bus, uClinux operating system and embedded Internet technology, analyzes the structures and monitoring mode of the remote monitor and control system. Based on these, the essay designs a remote monitor and control system for CAN bus based on embedded system, and carries out the hardware model ofthe embedded system for the CAN bus connecting to Internet.At present, many control instruments(such as meters, transducers etc) without CAN bus interface exist on industry field, and they cannot connect with the CAN network to transmit data. For constructing the CAN bus control system, the essay designs a CAN/RS232 converter to connect the instruments to CAN network.Second, the essay analyzes the whole software's implementation of the embedded system for CAN bus connecting to the Internet, designs the chief of the software: embedded Web server, and sums up the method to realize the Web server by practice, then, the essay implements a single process Web server in the uClinux operating system .Third, the essay sets up a remote monitor and control system composed of a embedded Linux apparatus, instruments> CAN/RS232 converter, so as to validates the feasibility of the system designLast,considering the high demand of real-time capability of data transmission in industry,the essay constructs a simple CAN network model by predigested the transmission process of the CAN frames, uses the classical queue theory to calculate the average delay of the CAN frames transmission in this model,and puts forward a improved conceive on SJA1000 controller.The essay also gives a conceive to improve the real-time capability for uClinux operating system.The essay combines the research and practice together. Based on the research conclusion, the essay carries out the practical model and realizes design of the software and hardware of the system in detail. All these work has significance on both theory and practice for the development of the remote monitor and control system for CAN bus based on embedded Internet.
