Yao He, being Co_Called Yao Jia with Jia Dao, was a famous poet of Tang Dynasty. But the study about Yao He is little, which makes us sorry. In this thesis, the author will, from two sides, sort out and study the various versions of Yao He's Anthology.Ⅰ. A study of the origin of Yao He's poetry. This part is to study the version source of Yao He's Anthology and the author investigate the references including alteration of arranging order, quantity of poetry, preface of inscription, sign of preservation, so as to ascertain the source of versions an d their handing down relationships. The one-volume version and the ten-volume version which possible were created in Tang Dynasty or Wu Dai have been lost. The later versions are divided into three aspects, treating time as the guiding principle. The author, in this part, studies and examines the versions of Yao He's poetry in detail.1.The edition and publication of Yao He's poetry in Song Dynasty. In this part, the author makes a thorough discussion of Shu block-printed version and Zhe block-printed version which has been lost. Both of Song versions are different in arranging order, quantity of poetry, official title about Yao He and some words. But it is not to say that they have no relation. The Zhe block-printed version was created later than the Shu block-printed version, and collected some anomalies from Shu block-printed version.2.The publication and transcription of Yao He's poetry in Ming Dynasty. In this part, the author systematically explores the origins of the various Ming versions of Yao He's poetry. ①Ming A,B,C,D transcripts were all created from Zhe block-printed version. ②Ji Gu Ge version was based on Ming A transcript. ③The origin of Tong Qian version can't been explored now because hasn't enough information. 3.The publication and transcription of Yao He's poetry in Qing Dynasty. In this part, the author systematically explores the origins of thevarious Qing versions of Yao's poetry. ①Liu version was collected by himself. ②Qing transcript was created from Zhe block-printed version. ③Ji manuscript and Si Ku version we re based on Ji Gu Ge version. ④Xi version was created from Ming B transcript. ⑤Quan Shi version was based on Ji manuscript. ⑥Huang Jiao version and Huang transcript were based on Shu block—printed version.Ⅱ.A comparative study of Shu block—printed version and Zhe block—printed version. Shu block-printed version is the only version of Song Dynasty which exists now. Zhe block—printed version has been lost, but its aspect s can been explored from various Ming transcripts. In this part, the author list s their anomalies and studies them. Through this, we can know many anomalies of Shu block—printed version are incorrect, while the anomalies of Ming transcripts which were based on Zhe block—printed version are correct. So we can have a good sense of Song Versions.
