Research Of Anthology Of Gujing Jingshe

Gujing Jingshe was an academy which is established in Hangzhou Zhejing Province during the Emperor Jiaqing and Emperor Guangxu in Dynasty Qing. Anthology of Gujing Jingshe was a collection of various kinds of academic studies and poems written by the teachers and students of the Gujing Jingshe. Basing on the methods of philology and academic history,the article discusses the academic level and value of the studies and the enlightenment and salutary lessens on today’s academic research by studying the concrete contents of these academic articles, and then exploring what questions, what resolutions and what kinds of conclusions they came up with, in the academic research engaged by the teachers and students of Gujing Jingshe.Research on these issues is processed by deeply exploring the contents of academic studies of Anthology of Gujing Jingshe, which is different from the one of studying the purpose of running a school, academic characteristics, effect and status of academy history. Therefore, this article does not involve this issue, and only focuses on the contents of the academic studies in the Anthology of Gujing Jingshe and their academic method, level, value and salutary lessons.There are various types of academic studies in the Anthology of Gujing Jingshe, and the quantities is up to thousands. This article makes analysis of several academic studies according to different types selected from the Anthology. Regarding the poems in the Anthology, this article ignores them and does not make any analysis and demonstrations because they are not those for direct academic research. The structure of this article is to summarize the existing relative research results relating to the Anthology of Gujing Jingshe in the foreword, then in the first chapter it discusses the Gujing Jingshe and the compilation of its anthology, in the second chapter it analyzes the pandect and case study regarding such ancient books as Classics, Histories, Philosophy etc; in the third chapter it discusses the relative research articles from the different aspects by classifying the concrete research articles into different textual research ones such as by words, characters, system of things of their names, geography, astronomical calculation and by primary schooljin the forth chapter it analyzes the articles regarding the Jingxueshi (ancient Chinese classics), historic character commentary, Confucian classics and ancient histories. The topics of these researches just as Mr. Hu Shi said, were very small, but they all adopted Qianjia School of thought’s textual research such as by literature, consonant lyrics and exegetics to identify the concrete and tiny issues. The contents of these researches are professional and thorough, so they are the important issues which will be discussed in this article. On the basis of the above mentioned four chapters, the fifth chapter it comprehensively analyzes and studies such issues as the research method, level, value and salutary lessons of the academic articles in the Anthology of Gujing Jingshe. Compared with Qianjia School of thought’s first-class scholars’ results, basing on the method and level of the relative academic articles in the Anthology of Gujing Jingshe;finally, according to the modern academic research, it analyzes whether there are any experiences and lessons for later references.The article demonstrates the academic research in details, by studying the academic articles in the Anthology of Gujing Jingshe, and summarizing the research content, method, level and value. Till the present moment, there are no Gujing Jingshe researches on further analysis of the content of the academic articles of Anthology of Gujing Jingshe. Moreover, regarding the purpose of running a school, academic style and the relationship with Qianjia’ school of thought, there are also no researches that could take good advantages of the contents of Anthology of Gujing Jingshe. Therefore, this article pays much more attention to studying the contents of Anthology of Gujing Jingshe, which will involve more professional researches and need more knowledge on the Confucian classics. If there is any improper part, expert’s guidance would be much appreciated due to my insufficient academic knowledge.
