Research On RT CORBA And It's Application

With the development of the computer and network technology, there are high degree of heterogeneous environments in the hardware platforms, operating systems and software development environments of distributed object computing system.Middleware provides general service between the operating systems and application programs. It has standard interface and protocol. It reduces the coupling degree of hardware, operating system and application program. Using the technology of middleware in distributed computing system reduces the coupling among them. Now, research and development on middleware technology has become a hotspot in software industry. Among them the most prevailing is CORBA, COM, RMI/JINI, etc.The real time monitoring and controlling system of electrical and Telecommunication industry are now mostly two tier distribution application based on socket. It is weak in software reuse and real time ability. This thesis does research on the middleware such as CORBA and it's Real Time Extension RT CORBA.How to use the current limited bands of IP network and satisfy the restrict requirements of QoS are the key to the problem. So this thesis lays emphasis on the service model and technology including Int/RSVP model, Diff-Serv model which improve the performance of network communication.It's an important method of guarantee power system running safely that using computer technology in power system. Early power net monitoring system is C/S application based on network API. This Model lack moveability, reuse and extensibility, distributed application, Real time character. In order to resolve this problem, Based on research on distributed computing and network communication, we design a new system based on RT CORBA. It's proved in the new system , real time character, communication and moveability, reuse and scalable ability is improved.
