A Research On The Current Reform Of The Management System Of Our Country's Book Distribution

With the constant improvement of our socialism market economics system, theservice of book distribution is gradually open to foreign investment, so ourcountry's book distribution industry will be facing more and more heatedcompetition. At present, although XiIiliua Bookstore is the main stream of bookdistribution, neither its management system nor its intemal running institlltion canfit the new situation. It is urgent for it to catch up with steps of the times. At thisbackground, this dissertation uses the basic principles of Marxist managementscience and publishing distribution science and the method of standard and positiveanalysis, therefore, its systematic analysis and deep thought on the reform andcountermeasures of our country's book distribution system is not only of greattheoretical value, but also of much reality, Whose aim is to establish a scientificand original book distribution system adapting to socialist market economics andspiritual civilization.This dissertation consists of thIee parts. The first part looks back the historicalprogress of the refOrm of our country's book distribution management system. Thesecond one analyses the main problems existing in our country's distributionmanagement system. The last one gives a concrete concept on how to further thetbrm in our country's book distribution management system that is the key poiniand the base of this article.The first part of this thesis divides the historical progress of our country's bookdistribution management system into four phases, namely one-majorrthree-more-one--less phase, thIee openness and one unite phase, unifOrm-opened andorderly-rivaled phase and the phase of the construction of modern marketingnetwork. And it also gives a concise explanation and analysis to each of them, anddepicts the historical progress of our country's book distribniion managementrefOrm.The second part, from eight aspects, expounds the main problems existing inour country's book distfibution management system. That is the state-rtm ownership,much-centered planning economy management, modem circulation network to beestablished, the unharmonized relationship between publishing houses andbookstores, the unclear ownership, the unreasonable construction between industryand profit, the feeble market suPervision and the low level of management andadministrative character.The last one of this disSertation is comPrised of three sections. First, it givesthe aim of our country's book distribution management system, that is to say byfurthering the reform of book distribution management system, we should establisha better system of book distribution. Second, it puts forward six basic principals onthe reform of book distribution management, Which are to uPhold the great bannerof Deng Xiaoping Theory to dominate the refOrm and development using thethree-represent theory, to insist on freeing the mind and seeking the twth from thefact, to insist on making efforts to unite social benefit and economic benefit bygiving first priority of the formef, to insist on construction adjustffient, insist onXinhua Bookstore and adopt the idea of humanism.
