Design And Implementation Of A Tourist Enterprise Management Information System Based On Hybrid Architecture Of C/S And B/S

The problems existed in the development of tourism enterprise management information systems are analyzed in the paper, as well as the requirements of enterprises providing tourism services, based on which we deeply study the design and implementation of tourism enterprise management information system on the basis of hybrid architecture of C/S and B/S. Main contents include:(1) Researches the architecture of management information systems. According to the special requirements of tourism enterprise management information systems, hybrid architecture of C/S and B/S is presented, and the key technologies of the architecture are discussed.(2) Discusses the analysis and design of the hybrid-architecture-based tourism enterprise management information system. Based on the standard approach SSA&D, a real tourism enterprise management information system named TSS is analyzed and designed, and the results of analysis and design are presented.(3) Addresses the implemental technologies of the hybrid-architecture-based tourism enterprise management information system. And the results of the implementation of the hybrid-architecture-based tourism enterprise management information system are presented. The practices in the paper demonstrate that the hybrid architecture is effective and realizable for tourism enterprise management information systems.(4) Probes into the key technologies of the hybrid-architecture-based tourism enterprise management information system. We concentrate on the synchronizing techniques of FTP upload and download, COM objects, and the maintenance of share data in MIS and database integrities. These technologies are all-purpose and useful for other types of management information systems.The main contributions of the paper are:(1) Hybrid architecture for tourism enterprise management information systems is presented, and its effectiveness is demonstrated through practice.(2) A standard analysis and design on the hybrid-architecture-based tourism enterprise management information system is completed based on SSA&D.(3) A tourism enterprise management information system based on the hybrid architecture is implemented using the developing technologies both from C/S and B/S view.(4) Valuable works are done in synchronizing techniques of FTP upload and download, COM objects, and the maintenance of share data in MIS and database integrities. Some new approaches are propounded, and several crucial problems existed in the development of hybrid-architecture-based tourism enterprise management information system are solved.
