Implementation Of The Distributed Intelligent Heterogeneous Data Integration System Prototype

With the development of computer network technology, enterprises start to develop many application system based on various software and hardware platform, consequently many abundant data source are accumulated, including structured data in database, non-structured data in file system, semi-structured data in web service. In the sake of avoiding reconstructing and wasting of data source, enterprises are eager to integrate these heterogeneous data source, which are separated in the locations and self-managed in management and heterogeneous in data module.Sore system is the heterogeneous data integration system provided by our development team, the system integrates each local Heterogeneous Data Source, and wraps the Heterogeneous Data during Integration Platform with ORB in globe common model, and provides data operation functions of uniform interface access. What users see is just globe common model and globe data operation, the actual users data operations are separated into according data source sub-operations, the results are returned to users by integration system.According to the design and implementation of Sore, this paper discusses the problems in heterogeneous data integration and gives our CORBA-based solution. This paper also introduce wrap design frame in integration platform in detail, and analysts deeply heterogeneous data directory as well. This paper illustrates the benefits of using CORBA by telling the excellent characteristic of Sore. This paper will put forward the research of CORBA-based heterogeneous data integration system.
