Research Of Apply Middleware To Construct Multi-tier Distribute System

To design a enterprise application with traditional two-tier architecture have some problems, for example, bad expansibility, bad scalability, limited number of concurrent users and so on. How do we resolve these problems? The answer is to use three-tier architecture.How do we construct three-tier architecture? We have some difficulty, because the enterprise application must be a distribute system. On the one hand, we need to cater for the boundary that the network present, need to deal with other boundaries such as the one that arise because different components are written in different language, to deal with different operating systems. On the other hand, we also need to resolve load balance, transaction management, fault tolerance and so on. The middleware technology is thought to be one of the best methods to resolve these problems.At first, this paper discusses current market of middleware and some problems about it, then it proposes and implements an application server based on the new CORBA specification.
