Study On The Establishment & Application Of FRMAMS

This paper discussed the forest resource monitoring elaborately . According to the index system of sustainable forest resource monitoring, using the Windows98 operation system, taking FoxPro, AutoCAD, CorelDraw,PhotoShop as developing tools and adopting the OOP method, the author developed the Forest Resource Monitoring Automation Management Sys tern (FRMAMS). Meanwhile, the whole process of developing FRMAMS梥ystem analysis, system design, system application wsre discussed thoroughly and it MS used to deal with the inventory data of BoShan Forest Center,Henan Province .This software could offer statistic data regular intervals,plot various Thematic Map, update the data in time, formulate forecasting- model to monitor the forest resource dynamically and predict the tendency .The software helped to manage the forest resource and realize the sustainable development of forest in the end.
