This paper describes the test and control system of a soil bin. In this system,a distributed I/O system is adopted. A computer as central manager is placed in the control room. The computer communicates with the FieldPoint modules to control the cart and get the sensors' signals.A set of equipment to test torque,speed of the cart,speed of the main shift and three dimension forces are designed and installed. The virtual instrument technology is introduced in this system. The cart walking and rotating component are controlled by computer. The data are gathered by computer,and the dynamic curves of the data are displayed on the screen. Data printing and data saving are realized in this system.A fuzzy controller of the cart speed is studied in this paper. Test and simulation study with the fuzzy controller is made on the soil bin system.Software to analyze and process the data is written. The functions of statistic analysis,data filtering,FFT transition,power spectrum analysis,correlation analysis and etc are realized in the software.
