Design Of M-EDM System Based On Distributed PDM

This paper begins with the analysis to the essential of the system of PDM and its technical character.Lookong into the future of the business based on technology of PDM, we conclude that the trend of "united the technology of PDM and IT" is the mergence of technology and business for production.Then we discuss the current status of resource of middle-scaled company and their requirement of PDM.At last ,we bring up a solution of M-EDM system based on distributed PDM,which makes fulluse of current resourse,get nore reliable performance with less cost.We also analysis the hierarchy,and show all the technical points by the implement process of an application system.The system we bring up could meet with the requirement of middle-scaled company.lt is simple in construct,Iow in cost and practical in use.
