Under the present market economy conditions, to raise capacity ofcompetition, it is essential to make technical innovation for industryenterprises. In our country, such as electric power, petroleum industry,chemical industry, metallurgy and construction industry, the task, to raisecapacity of competition in international market and to raise enterprisesproductivity, is very heavy. In enterprises innovation, the equipment andtechnological process is the main part. So it must be innovated by automationmethods.Before 300 thousand shipping ton carbamide cargo berth reformingproject in Nanjing Chemical Industry Group Co.,Ltd. from carbamideproduction workshops to cargo berth, it almost have one thousand meters.One belt conveyor line is laid which will sI)end nearly l0 million yuans. Formeeting the needs of the output and raisirlg productivity, others belt conveyorlines will be laid. So to economize capital and raise productivity, it is essentialto design an advanced transport equipment in the carbamide be1t conveyorline transportation refOrming prOject.In this reforming project, the design of distributor is a key problem. Itdistributes carbamide in bags almost equal from one belt conveyor line to twobelt conveyor lines for shipment in two berths at the same time. Or for needs,carbamide in bags is transported one belt conveyor lonely for shipment in oneberth.The thesis, according to chapters and sections, from control system'sselection, Programmable Controller's (P:LC) spots, PLC's selection, PLC'sprogramming, upper monitor's programming, to network control based onRS422 bus, dissects the control sys1fem that have industrial controlmanagement grade, control grade, worksite equipment grade and distributivetechnology of belt conveyor line's Program control.This system, as compared with point to point's early stage PLC controlllsystem based on Distributed Control System (DCS),have a large number of advantages, such as fewer I/O spots, smaller-sized PLC, simpler PLC's programming, less expenses for laying a lot of communication cable to control circuit, stronger antijamming and stronger adaptive control.This system can be extensively applied in automatic control field of the industry or the department of communication and transportation. This distributive technology of belt conveyor line's program control, not only can be economized capital and raised productivity but also is in the lead in ourcountry.
