A Kind Of Tools CAPP System Based On Real Circumstances

In the modern mechanical manufacturing , computer aided process planning (CAPP) is of important theoretic significance and is required pressingly and extensively.Making use of CAPP system not only can greatly improve the quality and speed of process design , but also enhance the degree of standardization and normalization of process plan.On the basis of elaborating the current situation and tendency of CAPP technology , problems that present CAPP system faced are analyzed in the paper. Combined with basic demand of CAPP system required by enterprise , a kind of tools CAPP system based on real circumstances is proposed. The system is developed based on principal of variant and is of characteristic of tools model which provide a lot of tools subsystems. Storage and management model of resource data is researched and an open data base management system of process resource is building. Dynamic management of process resource data is achieved. Searching mood method of process design and method of process design based on real example are proposed. Key technology of them is researched and realizing plan is provided. In view of the fact that the system is developed for specific enterprise whose products are of class of gear,process design of gear is provided as example in the system and design module of special cutter for machining gear is built. Cutter parameters are designed by calling the module in the process design.
