CAPP System Research Based On Open Data-Structure And Component

Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP) is always the important focus of the manufacturing. Along with the application and dissemination of the Computer Integrated Manufacturing Technology at the enterprise, CAPP, which is the key link of the Computer Integrated Manufacturing System (CIMS), raises more and more supernal requirements. The intrinsic CAPP system is commonly the all-purpose CAPP system that is used by multi-enterprises together. However, due to the complexity of the product and the difference of enterprise's history , habit, feature etc, the enterprise is forced to adapt to this system, which causes a series of questions such as flexibility and data share. So this CAPP system cannot meet with the complexity and dynamics of the manufacturing environment of the enterprise, and counteracts fast and deep development of manufacturing of our country.This paper puts forward CAPP system research based on open data-structure and component. The system changes all kinds of functional modules into soft component in reuse with plug and play model. This develop model can reduce software develop cost and period. It also can improve products' quality and develop efficiency. Furthermore, it can satisfies the clients' different demands and the requirement to the system function by the component's reuse, refit and upgrade.The task mostly has a research into two aspects: one is open data-structure. This paper gives a clear definition to open data-structure, sets up CAPP design frame based on open data-structure and applies to the case. The other is component and component-base. It brings forward the component design principle of CAPP domain and component-base collectivity design scheme based on function drive, and design CAPP components in details. Finally it forms a CAPP component-base management system.
