A Study On The Problems Related With Top-Quality Books

China has seen a rapid progress in publication since reform and opening the door to the outside world. However, there still exist a visible gap and disadvantages compared with that in the European and American countries. In the new century, the process of globalization is speeding up and the economy based on knowledge is impending. Particularly, publication is to mix with the world economy and participate in the international competition after China's entry into WTO. China's book-publishing is confronted with lots of problems begged to be solved in seizing the opportunities and facing the challenge. Of which, top-quality book is a crucial one which is of importance and needs profound research and dealing with.The thesis makes an in-depth study on the necessity and impendence, the characteristics and the comprehensive evaluation system, the present publication, the production and the benign "ecological" environment of the high-quality books, with the publication of high-quality books as the core, combined a lot of research and examples.In Chapter one, through the analysis of the troublesome condition of China's book-publishing, the thesis makes the readers sense the necessity of the theoretical study of the excellent books publication.
