The Research And Implementation Of EJB/CORBA Integration Application

As Internet technology goes on rapidly, the request to the informationality of the society increases steadily. The structural application of the tradition's client/server have already dissatisfied continuously expand of announce, for the sake of the problem in the mode of C/S, Web application procedure system based on components emerge with the tide of the times. In the three-layer architecture model information system based on components emerge with the tide of the times. In the three-layer architecture model information system is divided into: expression layer, business logic layer, DBMS layer. Therefore, three-layer architecture is obviously superior to two-layer architecture in maintaining, expansibility, reusage, security etc.With the development of the distributed computing, distributed object-oriented middleware has made great progress. But it still have many problems which deserve research, especially in operation of the different distributed object. CORBA is a distributed computing solution base on opening criterion, we can perform applications over the cross-platform and cross-language under the CORBA system structure;we can make transactional business logical easily with the help of EJB.To integrate CORBA and EJB makes it possible for CORBA system to take use of the EJB legacy resources in J2EE system, also this will enhance the ability of expansibility and compatibility to non-Java system in J2EE.Now, there are a lot of technologies to implement the integration of EJB and CORBA, the most possible ways include the RMI-IIOP , Web Service and CCM (CORBA Component Model).Compare the three theories, choose the most suitable way and implement a simple sample based on this theory.This essay discusses the problems from hereinafter four aspects:(1) The chapter introduces the concepts about EJB: the architecture and model of J2EE, discuss the transfer mechanism and the applicable environment of EJB, and the process of development.(2) The chapter introduces the concepts about CORBA: the CORBA models, discuss the transfer mechanism and the correlation technologes of CORBA, discuss the advantages and disadvantages of CORBA.(3) Research the theory and feasible project of EJB/CORBA, and compare this projects, choose the most feasible project.(4) The chapter introduse the implement of program base on the EJB/CORBAIntegration. And provide the code.Next, I will do more job to research the integration application of EJB and CORBA. The problem of Security, business and message service must be solve. And we can design a CCM container base the CCM rules, or add the CORBA service and interface into the EJB Container, implement the operation between different environment.
