Research And Implementation Of Computer Network Fault Management System

Directing towards the requirement of fault management in the campus networks, the paper firstly researches into such technologies as SNMP, WBM, two primary industry standards and the network fault management. Then according to the hierarchical tree-architecture, the Web-based four-layer network fault management system is designed and implemented. The paper presents a data collection sub-system based on the domain-manager agents. Database is the center of the system; all the upper layer applications are based on the database server.
