Rapid Prototyping Manufacture(RPM) ,which has a bright prospect as a technique, has been widely applied in the scope of prototyping and mould manufacture. Pitifully, it's proneness to fire and paper rupture severely affect the quality control of production when manufacturing. Although people begin to attach more and more importance to the security of RPM, there are few correlative articles about this topic both domestic and overseas. In order to solve the hidden producing troubles of RPM, author designs and develops a fireproof system based upon technology of multi-sensor to detect fire and paper rupture after making fully analysis of fire feature and widely research in the domain of fire detection technology. The majority of the contents in the dissertation is also part of work done by the author in a sub-subject of the national 863 project "Research on the intelligent safety fireproof controlling technology and moulding material of LOM RPM equipment" (No.863-511-920-009) .The article's main topics are described as follows:1. The author first make an brief introduction to the current development of RPM and fire detection technology, next analyze the cause of firing and paper rupture, and promote a resolvent of using UV detective sensor and vidicon as detection components.2. Sun's rays and sparkle produced during manufacturing have apparent impact on the correctness of detecting fire if using SingleChip as control component. In addition, background noise have to be token into account .All these requires that the whole system to have higher anti-interferce properties .By adopting the technology of UV sensor, Watchdog and software filters, noise is notably shielded, accordingly the system gains high performance in reliability and stabilization. This is also ensued by its self-examination function which can efficiently avoid error or miss alarm. Morever, it has several mode of display and alarm which make the system more portable3. In the research of intelligent fireproof system based on image analysis, the author probe into the field of video-show patterns of fire and paper rupture ,construct the model for fire recognition , b;.ild a arithmetic for paper rupture and promote a scheme for vision stakeout system ranging from image grabber, image processing, feature extraction and recognition. The scheme uses friendly Windows interface which make detection to RPM atreal time realizable.The article is a probe for the intelligent stakeout system of LOM RPM. The system has practical value in improving the safety of RPM machine.
