The Study Of Mobile Agent And Its Application On Web

Traditional approach to mobile agent technology, based on the concept of the mobile agent system centric, provides poor support for the development of applications. To apply the features of mobile agents to web application systems, the technology of applying mobile agent to web application is studied in this paper based on the approach of application-centric. A web oriented mobile agent system (WOMAS) is designed and implemented. It is concerned with the migration mechanism of mobile agent on Java platform. A component for migration of mobile agent is designed and implemented based on object serialization technology and dynamic class loading technology. The architecture and extending mechanism of Apache web server are studied, and the component for migration of mobile agent is integrated into Apache web server. WOMAS is applied to the Chinese network platform, and a mechanism for distributed collaboration based on WOMAS is designed and implemented.
