The Design And Implementation Of MPEG-2 Video Coding System

Moving picture compression standard MPEG-2 is specified to meet the increasingneed for the digital storage media, interactive television, High-Definity Television etc.This paper designs and implements a MPEG-2 video coding system.The thesis is devoted to the syntax analysis and decoding of MPEG-2 Transportstream(TS), an Error Correction method used to tansmit the TS over the noisy channeland the implementation of RS coder and convolutional interleaver for MPEG-2 codingsystem, the design and implementation of the video compression encoding system.For one video signal is encoded in this system, we prensent a statisticalmultiplexing method about serveral Transport streams for broaden this system'sapplication fields.
