Routing Technology And Network Management In Packet Radio Network

The paper shows the design and implementation of the software and hardware of the network node controller in a new Packet Radio Network. The controller serves as the Network Sublayer and Data Link Layer device of the Packet Radio Network. Firstly, this paper deals with two topology exchanging protocols and algorithms for Packet Radio Network, which are based on the troditional link status algorithm and have some changes. Secondly, a routing algorithm is presented in this paper, which applys to caculating the best route for unicast and multicast transmission under different routing modes. Finally, the paper shows some problems and solvements for network management, and some unsolved problems of this system are also discussed.
