In view of the current situation and demands of modern information society, this paper worked over CPLD and VHDL-The two core technologies of EDA that is an electronic design technology,and its application was researched with the example of teaching and study. Generally, the main works of this paper are as follows:Firstly, this paper studied deeply in VHDL language ,it was the firm foundation for the future actual application.Secondly, this paper took the examples of high-voltage current transform (HVCT) and digital clock. It studied how to use VHDL language into synthetic design.it adopt the programmable logic device(PLD) which had enhanced the secreted measure and improved the reliability.The temperature-measured system took out a better effect in the actual application.Thirdly, this paper developed the experiment board for teaching of EDA-l type to face the requirement of teaching reformation in 21g century. The board integrated the implement of the necessary periphery circuits, which could complete all kinds of actual examples of digital circuit in core with PLD. It was easy to learn and to use. It also had the character of visualize and agility.Lastly, this paper discussed the character of VHDL language and its developing situation. It had also used VHDL language to carry through the timing simulation about HVCT and digital clock. The simulation had the same result to the theory. It had established stability foundation to the future chip simulation.
