Intelligent CAD System For The Mechanical Transmission

According to the characteristic of mechanical-transmission designing, we combined the technology of expert system, database, device-independent bitmaps and integration of CAD software to develop the Intelligent Mechanical-Transmission Designing CAD System (IMTCADS) based on the Windows9xI2000 graphical interface. It is a theoretical and practical exploration for intelligent MechanicalTransmission designing.W~ integrated the expert system and scm2r ativ~mdu!2~cf CAD ~n IMTCADS. IMTCADS consists of not only knowledge-database and symbolic ratiocination but also database and draft database. It is a intelligent CAD system.IMTCADS consists of four modules definitude of the design object, generation of the total scheme . generation of the designing parametersand the integration of total design and part design . The principles of construction and implementation of the four modules in computer are introduced , and the design of database , knowledge-database draft database. obtain of knowledge , and the control of ratiocination mechanism are described in details. Finally, a practical example of IMTCADS is given.
