The knowledge-intensive new economic model has become the social tide.If organizations want to maintain the stable growth of benefits and the advantage of competitiveness,they have to improve the knowledge integration ability of knowledge workers.At the same time,knowledge integration of knowledge workers is also affected by a variety of new ways of work and communication technology.At present,the new technology with the widest audience is social media,which is significantly changing the mode of technology use and thus the way of knowledge integration for knowledge workers.At present,little is known about how knowledge integration unfolds at the individual level and the potential transformation nature of the knowledge integration process,especially how to integrate knowledge in a new social environment.Therefore,this paper study how the use of social media promotes the knowledge integration behavior of knowledge workers in work situations.Taking social learning theory as the research framework,social support theory and person-environment fit theory as the basis,this paper constructs a mechanism model to explore the role of social media in knowledge integration.Then,we choose the method of structural equation model,and choose 423 knowledge-type personnel as the empirical research object,to quantitatively explore the mechanism of knowledge integration in the work situation.The results show that the use of social media can have a positive impact on two types of social support,and social support through two types of person-environment fit factors significantly affect the degree of personal knowledge integration.In addition,the two types of social support have a positive effect on the transactive memory capability of knowledge workers.The transactive memory capability of knowledge workers is positively correlated with the need-supplies fit.The sense of belonging is the relationship between online social support and offline social support.This study can explain the mechanism of knowledge workers' social media use on their knowledge integration effect in the work situation from the perspective of social support and person-environment fit theory,and then help knowledge workers to better use social media tools to complete the integration of existing knowledge in their actual work.
