Research On The Information Service Pattern Of Documentation And Information System Of The Chinese Academy Of Sciences Under Network Environment

The libraries have been greatly changed by modem information technologies and network environment. The center of library work is transforming from holdings to utilization. Providing better information services and meeting users?needs utmostly, has also been the most important mission of every library. The Documentation and Information System of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (DISCAS) is ~important part of Chinese Documentation and Information undertaking, so promoting its information services has especially significant meaning.This dissertation is dedicated to research on the DISCAS information service pattern from the new point of view of network environment. It widely studies advanced domestic and international information service pattern, and discusses the achievements and existing problems of DISCAS services, and for the first time, the article carries out research on the information needs of the Knowledge Innovation Project of CAS.
