| Focusing on "Fortune Salon"supported by "Yangcheng Evening News" the author examines the conimunicative environment established by Economic Salon from the view of public communication. In the article, the author traces the establishment of Economic Salon and the craze it makes from current humanity, economic and media existing background. With research on audience, receiver, communication pattern and its content, the article presents a full-scale analysis on its environmental communicative function. It also reveals the opportunities brought to traditional newspapering from point of media and social resource conformity. Besides, the article gives a clear reflection on the possible negative influence by Economic Salon, and manages out its conclusion: Though Economic Salon does not provide absolute rational, free or equal public space, it indeed establishes a comparatively ideal environment for communication. The experiment of Economic Salon broadens our horizon for traditional newspapering perfect its existing environment by social resource conformity and trans-media development.
