| A Fax of IP (FoIP) prototype with three-layer structure including gateway, gatekeeper and background server is designed and implemented, using a popular Foll~ industrial solution. The prototype is visual modeled and developed in increment iteration using OOA, OOD, OOP, RUP and reverse generation techniques with ROSE, so as to enhance reliability, reusability and maintainability of the system. It provides easy communication between users and developers and a sample for other similar systems. The modeling techniques of the persistent object (Database) and real time system have also been discussed in this dissertation.
