The Object-oriented method is widely used, which is a software development thought-way. Its methods and process of software development is similar to human-being's Problem-solving. In these age, the object-oriented application is changing,so it is difficult to develop and manage high-quality applications within a reasonable time. In order to face challenge, we should work out available common object model language, which is Unified Modeling Language (UML). UML is a blueprint for the information technology industry, and also is a detailed description of the structure for system. The use of the blueprint, it's easy for us to establish and maintain the system, which system can adapt to changing needs. A excellent model syetem is a good foundation which can meet the needs of users, ensure the stability and quality of system and improve the scalability of the system. ROSE is one of the UML's rapid application development tool, which is an object-oriented modeling tools.Management Information System is a management decision system which is based on the computer system to assist the enterprise managers who are at different positions. It supports the job operation, management control and assistant decision of the enterprise. It is a Management-Oriented modern decision support system which is man-machine combination, integrating all kinds of person with ability and subjects.Firstly, this paper introduced the concept of management information systems and development methods, and discussed the current knowledge management. I take the Rational Rose for the development of analytical tools, and then analysis process of office automation system modeling, and achieve OA system issued which is a document management system, then as a means of analysis of management information system modeling and development process.
