Multifunctional intelligent terminal display has been widely applied to the airdrome aviation-controlled, radar terminal display, military affairs command occasion and so on. For a long time, the random scan display has been applied in abundance in these fields. While along with the increasing of the terminal display information, the limitation of the random scan system is gradually projected, such as the small display capacity and the few of color. The random scan system can't be competent for the display demand of intelligent terminal. Raster scan terminal display adopts raster scan system, widely uses the computer technology and high capacity graphic memory to make up of the display system. Through loading with the different display software, raster scan display can satisfy much complicated display demand. Synthetically contrast with the all kinds of projects, a new-style achieving project to the raster scan display is brought forward in this paper. With the high performance GSP (graphics system processor) making up of the core, using SDRAM as graphic memory for the first time, designing the logic circuits with FPGAICPLD, completing simulation with Max+Plus II , some valuable researches of the new-style raster scan display have been carried out.
