With the development of electric power system and advancement of technology,the demands for synchronization generator excitation equipment are increasing. People do not settle for nothing more than the realization of basic functions. The advancement of digitalization technology make people have more trenchant need to Excitation equipment with strategic insight in dynamic quality ,progressive and flexible.The creative work of this paper is to use TSX37-2 1 industry control computer as a main role in excitation equipment. Because of using graphic language to write program, soit has a good interface between machine and humanbeing. Going with the development process of new product type KWLZ by Electrical Equipment Factory of Hebei University of Technology, this paper discusses the developing trends of excitation equipment based on the construction of hardware and software in China and world, and the application of modem technology and new ideas based on computer technology, digital technology, asynchronous interrupt technology and excitation regulation strategy. Also disscussed in this paper are a series of common problems often occurred in domestic systems using computer technology.This paper also lay stress on discussing a digital process of standard position PID and increment PLO. KWLZ excitation regulator based m industrial computer TSX37-21 adopts a control strategy which is incompletion differential PLO, so its dynamic quality has been improved greatly.The ideas proposed in this paper have been successfully realized and the first system adopting the solutions proposed in this paper have been put into operation in a 100MW synchronous generator in Nanyi Power plant, Fujian province ,so far the products have been manufactured in batch. The good performance have proved the ideas and analysis in this paper and also gained the user抯 highest praises.
