The project-learning has inherited many educationalist's theories, the idea and the method in the history, it is a world subject of international education, it is also the focus of attention in many countries' curriculum reform . The project-learning is similarly luminescent spot and one of important contents which in our country elementary education curriculum reforms. Propose the question or determine a research direction is more important than study it. In project learning, choosing the theme is a very important step throughout the course of the study, it has an important role in the research study. How to improve student's ability of choosing theme has the important theory value and the reality pointed to Impetus project-learning.The generalized project-learning makes a general reference that the study students inquire into the question. As a way to improve students' innovate spirit and practice ability. It not only exists by the relatively independent curriculum, moreover exists by the non-entity shape during all disciplines edition and all activities. The narrow sense of project-learning refers the students who under the teacher instruction choose theme from own study, the life and the society, and get knowledge, use knowledge and solve the questions like scientific research.The physical project-learning refers the students who under the teachers' instruction choose theme related to physics from the natural phenomenon, the social phenomenon, the self-life and in the physical study process, and in the research process get knowledge, use knowledge and solve the questions.Refers to the correlation research results, take the study theory of construct, the inquisition teaching theory, the science education theory, the main body education theory and so on as the foundation, The ability of physical project-learning refers to: the student under the teacher instruction choose themes from the natural phenomenon, the social phenomenon, the self-life and in the physical study process, and the themes relate to physics but also have scientific, feasible, innovative, and relate to life, according to theme determine the research goal, discover the disparity between the present situation and the goal, the ability of choosing theme in Physics project-learning's apparent include several aspects: 1. the consciousness of choosing theme; 2. question spirit and custom; 3. the types of the themes; 4. the strategies of choosing theme; 5. the principles of choosing theme; 6. the reconsidering of the process.I have carried on a investigation of the present situation and the problems about the choosing theme in Senior high school. The results are as following: Senior high school teachers and students appreciate the project-learning, Teacher and student's understanding of project learning and choosing theme exists erroneous zone. (2) The students have the question spirit and question consciousness, but the student can not necessarily rise the question consciousness to the theme consciousness. Because lack of practice, themes the students chosen have some problems in the indication. The themes students chosen are form a single source, students can not use various strategies.Based on the findings of the study, I give some suggestions on the teaching of choosing theme in physics. Teachers should improve students' habit of questioning and the understanding of theme in project learning, I propose the process to improve students the ability of choosing theme, including: Enhance students' ability of choosing theme from each kind of source. Enhance students' ability of using each kind of strategy to choose theme. Enhances students' ability to follow the principle ability of choosing theme and reconsidering ability. The design of choosing theme in physical project-learning based on physical situation includes 5 stages: the creation of the physical context; to guide students to ask questions; make questions into theme; the theme selection; to reflect on.
