In September, 2001, China launched the Eighth Basic Education Curriculum Reform, which is the larger one since the founding of People's Republic of China. With the implementation promotion and the reflection of the new round of Basic Education Curriculum Reform, the Mathematics Curriculum of Compulsory Education has aroused wide concern. The study of the abroad curriculum indicates that the key point of The Curriculum Reform often lies in the implementation. Sometimes there is great difference between the specified curriculum in the documents and the actual curriculum on the implementation process. The urban-rural gap and regional disparities in China are visible. During the process of the new curriculum promotion and implementation, there is bound to differences between the different regions, especially in the rural areas, which are backward on economy and education development. Then, how is the situation of the new curriculum implementation in the rural area, and whether there is difference between the documents curriculum and implementation, further, in which aspects the difference lies and how big? Moreover, in order to acclimatize itself to the education reality in the rural areas, whether we need a further reform?Thus, through the study of The Mathematics Curriculum Implementation of The Primary Schools in rural areas, we can both understand the changes and issues emerged during the new curriculum implementation process, and comprehend the performance and problems in the design and implementation process of the new curriculum. An the same time we can also provide suggestions for promoting the new Curriculum Implementation process in the rural areas, so that we could develop The Mathematics Curriculum of Compulsory Education in the rural schools smoothly and healthily. Base on the analysis above, it is necessary that we could have knowledge of the characteristics of The Mathematics Curriculum in primary and middle schools during the reform process, but also study the implementation situation of the mathematics curriculum in rural area primary schools.Therefore, this article is focus on the study of a rural primary school to survey the Mathematics Curriculum Implementation in rural primary school. The full text is divided into six parts:The first chapter is devoted to the study design, including the background and problems, research ideas and methods, the choice of research subjects and identification, research data collection, data collation and analysis.The second chapter is an analysis into the characteristics of primary school mathematics curriculum.Chapter 3 is a study of curriculum implementation status in our country, mainly reviewing the relative concepts and the study after the new curriculum implementing.Chapter 4 and 5 are the key chapters of this article, mainly through case studies, interviews, and class observation methods, we make a deep research in the curriculum implementation of X primary school. And by observing the management system, security system, and the participants of the curriculum implementation, we can have a comprehensive understanding of the mathematics curriculum implementation in this school. At the same time, we will use the decision-making analysis of the math-teachers to find out the characteristics and real situation of the mathematics curriculum implementation at the level of X primary school class.Chapter 6 of this article is the part of the conclusions and recommendations. Through the collation and analysis, we will summarize the findings of case studies and the main problems in X primary school's mathematics curriculum implementation, and propose several improving strategies.
