The Research Of The Implementation About PE Curriculum In Rural Primary And Middle Schools In Luohe Of Central China

Due to the new-curriculum reform for decades, there are great changes in the primary and middle school physical education curriculum in China, especially the rural physical education, which has made great process. However, there are great challenges as well, more deeply survey, research and analysis should be carried out.In order to achieve the initial purpose of the study, the research used questionnaire, documentary and interview methods. The article examines the implementation situation of primary and middle school physical education curriculum in three districts and two counties of Luohe and describes the background information from different aspects, such as physical education curriculum, physical education teaching content, physical education organizational form, physical education teaching method, learning attitude, etc. The study found that the current sport fields and equipments in rural schools cannot meet the demand of physical education curriculum. Moreover, the quality of physical-training teachers cannot keep pace with the education reform gradually.The rural primary and middle school physical education curriculum has made great process in the past few years, however, they are confronted with many obstacles in implementation. Not only the physical education concept and value should be rebuilt, but also more resources should be developed. The physical teachers play the key role in the implementation of curriculum reform, and their professional quality determines the teaching effect. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of rural primary and middle school physical education curriculum, more work should be done to promote the teachers’ professional quality and capacity.
