There exits a "century problems" in the course of China's rapid development of higher education-the ever lasting debt crisis of universities and colleges as well as the continuous question on the high tuition. The root of the problem lies in the higher education products pricing on the basis of cost-sharing. To this issue, people do not know whether is right or not. For Hunan Province, which is determined to build "strong education province" and to lead the rise of central China, it is the core objectives that increase the development of higher education, and it is inevitable to resolve a theoretical and practical problem of higher education products pricing in order to achieve the sustainable development of Hunan universities and colleges.The substance of ordinary higher education products pricing is the higher education cost-sharing and compensation issues, thus it needs to analyze the higher education products'price positioning and trim the productions pricing theories on the basis of making judgments on nature and characteristics of higher education products. On the basis of theory framework, it should conduct the experience study in the angle of comparative analysis. Therefore, Comparatively analyzes two different foreign modes: "welfare" and "market" of compensation under the cost of education products pricing, absorbs their experiences, then uses field survey and data analysis methods to diagnose the current situation and problems of ordinary education products pricing in Hunan Province, and makes it further clear the establishing a new type of product pricing system is of necessity.The key point lies on the calculating the higher education cost per student scientifically and reasonably, and then affirms the ratio that students and parents should take using related model and methods in Hunan. Seeing the quasi-public goods particularity of higher education and the real situation of"pricing as a whole across the country"in Hunan province, the execution and perfection of government guidance price is the significant guarantee. In the course of pricing, it should look for the harmonious conjunction of"Effciency"and"Equility"and it should always insist a series of corresponding and associative principles:"the benefits and ability, efficiency and equity, faith and transparent, unification and flexibility". Makes clear the factors affect the pricing. such as: supply and demand, quality and fame, the people's ability to bear, manners and customs, government policy guidance etc. At last, establishes a differential pricing system of higher education products in Hunan province. Price the productions according to the level, major, ownership, credit, personal difference. In this way, it can guarantee the smooth implementation of differential pricing.
