History concepts are the essential knowledge of history events. They are the base of history teaching and are also the key to improving the teaching quality of history. History concepts are both the core of developing the wisdom of the students and the premise of solving problems and conducting creative activities. The basic methods of forming history concepts are to definite, to analyse and summarize, to compare and contrast,to give examples and so on.Concept formation and concept assimilation are two basic forms of history concepts. The teaching of history mainly depends on teachers' instructions to help students recognize,understand and master these concepts. The teachers use imaginative and logical thoughts in both theory and technology to instruct students,which aims to make students use the concepts freely and solve practical problems. However, there are some problems which exist in the present teaching of history concepts. The teachers can't deal with the relationships between the development and stages of concept teaching and also the relationships between different processes properly.
