Getting help from Internet resources and information technology meets the need of the development of Chinese teaching. How to use Internet resources and information technology in Chinese teaching is of great importance.The Chinese teaching on internet environment is a new type of teaching which depends on plenty of Internet resources and uses modern information technology to to implement the Chinese teaching in a speedy and effective way. It is largely different from traditional Chinese teaching and multimedia teaching. The characters of Internet resources and information technology lead to the characters of the Chinese teaching on internet environment as rich in content, openness of space and time, circumstances of environment, independence and interaction in the process of learning.The basic theories of carrying out the Chinese teaching on internet environment are constructivism theory, system science theory, theory of multiple intelligence, humanism-based teaching theory, modern structure-based teaching theory and theories of psychology.At present, the general language teacher uses the network resource and the information technology fully, carrying on the teaching regarding certain teaching subject, promoting student's independent study, changing the traditional language teaching structure and the pattern, deepening the language educational reform. All of these have made certain progress. But there are still many problems in many network language teaching, and it can be mainly summarized in four aspects: first, the teaching process overemphasizes the independency of the student's studying instead of neglecting the teacher's dominant position. Secondly, the teaching process pays great attention on the operation of technical layer, but neglects the language discipline's characteristic. Thirdly, the teaching process pays great attention on student's individual independence, but despises the coordination cooperation. Fourthly, the teaching appraisal pays attention to the result, but despises the process.The principles of the language teaching implement under the network environment are mainly: suiting the language discipline characteristic principle, the auxiliary principle, the individualizing teaching principles, the independent principle, the creative principle, the inspirational principle and the valid principle.The fundamental modes of the language teaching implement under the network environment are mainly: 1. Special inquisition mode. The special inquisition under the network environment is teaching activity that under the modern education theory instruction, students determine subject, and the full use network platform, collects the information, the reading information in the teachers'guidance and help to expand the knowledge, gain rich experiences, enhance innovative spirit and the practical ability. The special inquisition teaching's general operation flows are: confirming subject, designing proposal - collecting material, independent inquisition - achievement exchange, appraisal summary. 2. Reading teaching mode. This teaching fully utilizes the present information technology, depending on the rich network resource, and carries on reading experiences with goal and plan in the classroom to cultivate the student linguistic skills, and enhance the student language accomplishment. This teaching mode includes 5 steps, two points and one line, and names briefly as"five steps-two points-one line"the teaching mode of network reading. The basic flows are: (1) establishing a scenario, leading a topic; (2) the overall sensation, asking the question; (3) on-line surfing, independent inquisition; (4) the interactive dialog, cooperating and researching together; (5) concluding and summarizing, transferring and extending. 3. Teaching mode of composition. The mode includes five segments that can be simply called five segments teaching mode of composition. Its operation flows are: defining artic topic, creating the sentiment to stir up the interest-browsing on-line, opening the source promoting exchange-discussing, writing on-line-publishing on-line, commenting mutually and correcting-summarizing, making progress together. The above several kind of new teaching mentality has manifested the new teaching idea.Language teaching under network environment is one kind of new teaching form, worth us pondering, and researching. Looking from the role of teacher, the network teaching makes new requests for language teacher, requesting the function which the teacher displays fully instructs and cooperates, requesting the teacher to become the promoter, the edifyfier from the knowledge initiator, requesting the teacher to give the student more trusts, the freedom and the practice opportunities, requesting the teacher to have the higher information accomplishment and the networking. Moreover, to implement the network language teaching effectively thoroughly, we must ponder solving the following problem: the network environment requesting language teacher to have the high information accomplishment and the information technology, the teachers and students'exchanging their emotion in the on-line class, out of control in the online class, disadvantages that the magnanimous information resources easily cover the students'analyzing and thinking, enhancing the immunity of students'dealing with the trash information, establishing one kind the evaluating indicator system which adapts with the network environment request and so on.
