The implementation of New Geography Course of Senior Middle School poses an unprecedented challenge to traditional teaching methods. Changes in teaching brought about by the New Course makes it necessary to find a new and effective teaching strategy to meet its requirements. The successful application of knowledge management in enterprises provides inspiration to teaching. On the basis of many related researches on knowledge management of teaching conducted at home and abroad, I present an implicabel strategy of knowledge management for New Geography Course after attempting to apply the methods of knowledge management to construct a knowledge management system for the New Course. In order to constuct the system, I reorganize the course content, make a comparative study, analyse the new concepts and contents of the new curriculum standard and help the students solve their problems arising during their learing process by changing their learning methods.This paper gives a detailed and original discussion on the knowledge management system for New Geography Course which includes its targets, procedure as well as realization. In the past one year, I have applied the system to my teahcing practice in the experiment class. My students' increase both in their scores and in their learning ability proves the implicable value of the system. The current study not only has a theoretical and pragmatic implications for the teaching and the learning of the New Course but also will contribute a lot to the implementation of the New Course.
