Children Left Behind is a new social phenomenon in the transformation and development of Chinese society. These children have been separated from their parents for a long time, and can not get face to face parental care and guidance. So they face a lot of problems in their growing-up. The causes for these problems are multifaceted, which involves, in regards to education, family, school, and community. The researcher conducted a field research, comprehensively investigated the present condition of the Children Left Behind in rural areas of Youyang County, Chongqing. It preliminarily analyzed the factors that affect Children Left Behind from the aspects of family, school and community. It has reached the conclusion that, the education problem of the Children Left Behind in rural areas of Youyang County is the specific manifestation of village problem in the transformation process of Youyang society. And it offers some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the levels of family, school, community, government and education administration department, etc.This paper is divided into four parts as following:The first part is a general introduction. It mainly includes the purpose of the study, literature review, definition of basic concepts, the significance of the study, the methodology of the study.The second part is the introduction of the education problems of the Children Left Behind in rural Youyang County. Through the interviews of some Children Left Behind in Primary and Middle School, and of some guardians and teachers of these children, we presented the education problems of Children Left Behind in Youyang County, which include study problem, mental problem, behavior problem, safety problem and health care problem, etc.The third part is the analysis of the causes of the problems of the Children Left Behind. It comprehensively discussed the influence factors of the education problem of the children Left Behind in rural Youyang County from family, school and community environment.The forth part put forward the some countermeasures which can solve the problems existing in the children Left Behind in rural Youyang County. From the angle of education anthropology adaptation, it gives some corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from the levels of family, school, community, government and education administration department, etc. And it left some suggestions and opinion that invites the concerns of more scholars and of society at large.
