Since the requirement of " fostering a new generation capable of shouldering the mission of national rejuvenation" was put forward at 19 th CPC National Congress,as the main battlefield for the education of the millennial and the post-millennial,who shoulder the responsibility of building a great modern socialist country,the tertiary schools are more significant and more value than before.Under the circumstances,it has become a new direction of ideological and political education to explore the issue of fostering a new generation in tertiary schools.Focusing on the topic of fostering a new generation in tertiary schools,the thesis attempts to carry out a comprehensive and profound research on it,through the research of theories and ideological evolution,the exploration of connotation and logic,the summarization of the achievements and deficiencies,and the presentation of ideas and coping strategies,which aims to enrich the theoretical system,optimize the practical path,and foster the new generation.The thesis is mainly divided into the following four parts.The first part is the research of theoretical basis and ideological origin of fostering a new generation in tertiary schools.By reviewing the literature,the author carding the opinions of the classical writers and the leaders of the Communist Party of China in different periods,who discuss fostering a new generation within the development of Marxism.And the author sums up the bi-directional experience learning of Chinese and Western culture on fostering a new generation in the history of Chinese and Western civilization.The second part is the exploration of connotation and logic of fostering a new generation in tertiary schools.Combined with the current international and domestic situation,the author explains the profound connotation of the new generation from the perspectives of concept,characteristics and key words;expounds the value of the research from the mutual promotion between the tertiary schools and the new generation;and analyzes the development of the new generation from the three dimensions including history,theory and reality.The third part is the summarization of the achievements and deficiencies of fostering a new generation in tertiary schools.By policy research,comparative analysis and survey by questionnaire,the author analyzes the achievements and deficiencies of the three levels including macro policy supply,meso organization operation and micro evaluation feedback,revolving round the four aspects of subject(educator),object(educational object),intermediary(content and media),and external factors.The last part is the basic ideas and strategies of fostering a new generation in tertiary schools.Based on the new background and new situation,the author constructs the overall principle of fostering a new generation from a macro perspective,and responds to the existing problems and deficiencies.On this basis,the author further puts forward the solutions with all members,complete process,whole periods and all fields from the four aspects including subject,object,intermediary and external factors.
