Kindergarten education is also called preschool education. It's the start of a person to get the education. It's the foundation-laying project and the foundation's foundation of education. Structure of elementary school, middle school and other levels and kinds of educations all base on this foundation. America is one of the countries which are most developed in kindergarten education in the world. Cultivating and improving the teacher for kindergarten education is considered as the very important issue in America, and high quality teachers grow up by the pre-service education. In America, that the pre-service education for kindergarten teacher mainly contains senior high school, short-term college, and undergraduate course, etc. levels, and together with their high-standard and high-requirement recruiting object, course design and education level, etc. formed the special nondirective kindergarten teacher pre-service education system, thus brought up batches of the high quality kindergarten teachers, and achieved the high quality kindergarten education in America. Concerning a series of issues, such as researching how to form optimum and reasonable kindergarten teacher pre-service education, cultivating high quality kindergarten teacher, and improving our kindergarten education quality, America's experience is very useful as a reference for us.This research starts from the kindergarten teacher education which is responsible for the kindergarten teacher pre-service education. Section one dissertates why we should do this research and the significance of this research from introducing the issue, the present situation, purpose, significance of the research, and defining relevant concepts, etc.. Section two divides America kindergarten teacher pre-service education to four terms which are normal school, normal college, education college in university, and education department in arts & science college by sorting the development course of America kindergarten education. Section three forms a sensorial understanding of America kindergarten teacher pre-service education system by concluding the characteristic of its cultivation institution, recruiting object, course design, teacher's qualification, etc.. Section four which is the kernel of the discourse, analyzes why does America has such kindergarten teacher pre-service education system from the development requirement of America's society economy, multi-culture background, kindergarten education and teacher specialization, thereby will have a holistic and rational understanding of America kindergarten teacher pre-service education system. Section five finds out the problems by sorting the evolution and describing the present situation of our kindergarten teacher pre-service education system. Considers the situation of our country and refers America's experience, to get advices about cultivating goal, recruitment, course design, education requirement of teacher, etc.. At the end, gives a expectation to our kindergarten teacher pre-service education system: directional kindergarten teacher education system will be mainly kept for a quite long time; pluralistic kindergarten teacher education system will be maintained; Contents and majors of kindergarten teacher education will be updated and divided; makes a kindergarten-teacher education system basing on children and all-live study.
