Research On The In-service Training System Of Vocational Education Teacher In Australia

Strengthening in-service teacher training, is an important measure to improve the quality of teachers in the world, as well as the inevitably request to the teacher development of our country. Australian TAFE Institute is a world model of successful vocational education which has trained a lot of outstanding talents and made great contribution to the economic development of Australia. Those successful achievements are inseparable with its excellent teachers. The professional development of teachers is not only the pre-service training, but also the in-service training. There are so many problems in in-service teacher training in China’s vocational education. Therefore, researching on Australian in-service teacher training, exploring its development experience can provide reference for in-service training of our vocational education teachers; as a result speed up the professional development of teachers.This paper is divided into seven parts.The first part mainly introduces the problems that Australia and our country face.The second part mainly introduces the formation of in-service training system of Australian vocational education teacher. Its formation is divided into three stages.The third part mainly from the static aspect introduces in-service training system of Australian vocational education teacher, including the principle, provider, goal, content, and mode.The fourth part mainly from the dynamic aspect to introduces the implementation of in-service training system of Australian vocational education teacher, including the preparation, process, evaluation and guarantee system.The fifth part mainly takes the state of New South Wales in Australia as a case, introduces the operation of the system.The sixth part mainly introduces the characteristics of in-service training system of Australian vocational education teacher.The seventh part analyzes the experiences of its system and puts forward the improvement of China’s in-service training system of vocational education teacher.
