The modern information technology especially multimedia network technology is an essential prerequisite for educational reform . In order to construct the teaching models which are suited for the characters of students and the age and make the chemistry teaching perfecter we combine the multimedia network technology with the chemistry curriculum. The chemistry teaching which is carried out with the help of multimedia network technology is one important aspert in the study of middle school chemistry teaching.Making full use of the computer and the multimedia network technology not only helps the teachers raise the students'interest in chemistry and get them to learn it happily and initiatively but also breaks the traditional teaching methods and actieves the best teaching results. This article focuses on how the multimedia network technology is used in middle school chemistry teaching .It analizes the problems and misunderstandings teachers meet when they combine the network technology with their teaching and students'learning. The writer also emphasizes the idea that students should be the centre in class and gives examples of how teachers deal with different types of lessons such as new lessons activity lessons study lessons and revision lessons . In the article the writer analizes the factors which weaken the teaching effects by comparing the ways of selecting a proper models according to the type of the lesson . There are specific methods which are valuable for us teachers and help teachers know more about the multimedia network technology and improve their teaching .The writer uses study methodlogy and analytical inductive method .
