With the development of modern information technology, multimedia assistance on teaching has entered middle school campus.In virtue of giving a piece of vigor to traditional teaching and a brand new conversion to education, it has become common phenomenon. It is a great convenience of applying multimedia technology on high school physical class.Multimedia enriches the teaching content, optimizes the teaching process, raises the efficiency of class, and promotes the development of students. Since the development of multimedia technology, many different voices and opinions of varied education fields have risen one after another, containing praises and criticisms.The approvers consider the advantages almost lie behind the vigor and living power to class by multimedia technology.And the protesters mainly worry about its defects, which contain the limitations and the inappropriate using of teachers. Multimedia technology is only a kind of assistant means on teaching.Only the correct and reasonable using could optimize it,which finally promoting the development of teaching function.In the light of variety confusions of multimedia technology on teaching, this article analyzes some related documents about multimedia and physical class teaching. It is based on middle school physical class teaching practice, and puts three grades student of school and some teachers as objects, takes the way of questionnaire survey, discusses and inquires into the way of applying multimedia technology on physical teaching by the data analysis and interviews with teachers.This article firstly analyses the characters of physical subject and four kinds of physical courses.Then discusses the relationship of multimedia technology and physical subject on base of that, and it expounds the influence of way of multimedia on physical teaching.The result of the research can be summed up in some points. Firstly, most students and teachers hold the favourably attitudes on multimedia. Multimedia technology is helpful to analysis and interpretation of the law of physical concept, and has its unique function in different type of physics class. Secondly, Multimedia technology is helpful to teacher preparation; it can remove much of the burden of teachers. Thirdly, the multimedia hardware is imperfective and it should be improved. Fourthly, teachers is not skilled in operating and have the problems of inappropriate using in the multimedia teaching process.This article discusses these problems and gives some personal advices.Aiming at the problems existing in the multimedia teaching, we should look for reasons in many aspects, thus making multimedia technology integrate into class, and apply on the class.Firstly, enforces the allocation and administration on multimedia hardware. Secondly, enhances the operative ability and teaching level of users. Thirdly, trains the learners adapt to multimedia teaching.
