Design And Implementation Of Multimedia Network Classroom Based On Web

In the 21 st century,with the rapid development of information technology,as a representative,network technology develops rapidly.Network teaching is also gradually entering the traditional classroom,and has become a very important way of learning.To network teaching,people put forward higher and higher request and desire the teaching and learning environment similar to the real classroom.Multimedia network classroom,as a kind of effective multimedia teaching platform,is a kind of integration of network technology and multimedia technology based on computer.It expresses the slightly boring classroom knowledge vividly by using voice,text,graph,and other media forms and has become the mainstream of modern network education idea.The core work of this article is to use SSH framework and FLEX technology to develop a multimedia network classroom supporting real-time communication based on Web,and use cluster technology,load balancing technology to meet the needs of large-scale users;This article has also completed the overall structure design of the network classroom and the implementation of the basic function of server and client.Specifically including the following aspects:1)On the basis of analyzing and researching present status,a system structure of the multimedia network classroom is designed.Using the SSH framework to develop some base parts of the multimedia network classroom such as teaching resources browsing,online examination and so on,which enables the network classroom web side to work safely,stably and efficiently.2)Instant communication module is developed using the combination of Openfire+Smack based on the XMPP agreement to make communication more convenient.3)The development of electronic whiteboard using FLEX technology makes the network teaching more intuitive and plays a good role in promoting the learning efficiency of learners.4)Load balancing technology is applied to the multimedia network classroom server cluster system,enabling the system to operate stably in the face of sudden network circumstances.At present,this multimedia network classroom has been put into use and running in good condition.This system provides educators and learners with an onlinecommunication platform,and it has a positive role in promoting both teaching and learning.
