The value is concept of worth hoping for or happy thing, reflected each person hoped for the thing, any humanity's divine creative force all is the human certain value carrier, and the education is not exceptional. The main value of our country feudal society educates is raising politics ruler for the ruling class; To the modern times, along with the industry civilization development, the education value mainly has manifested for maintains the method which the humanity lives, for industrial production raise labor force; Along with the present age knowledge economy and information society's approaching, the society develops the scientific culture to accelerate to progress, proposed unprecedented omni-directional challenge to person's quality, the education gradually changes emphasizes its main body value—person's development value.As our country traditional education thought,"differentiation in teaching and learning"came with the great practice of pre-qin time Kong Zi, same with the education and all other human divine creative force, relates with humanity's value. According to the different characteristic of specific time, the value orientation of"differentiation in teaching and learning"also have differences, this article according to the characteristic of our country historical development, divide the value orientation of"differentiation in teaching and learning"into three stages: China ancient times traditional agriculture society time"after acquiring achievements from study then to be an officer"; the modernized advancement time with"practical using"; after China post industrialized society starts to pursue"person's self- production".The ancient agricultural society time, as the political tool,"differentiation in teaching and learning"raised different person to different social class, just so-called"the person above center class was allowed to be educated, the person below center class was not allowed to be educated", the production method was backwardness and the level of people understanding were low caused the person to submit to deterrent of"the destiny"and emperor,therefore the knowledge and the education only needed for the minority social upper formation,"differentiation in teaching and learning"mainly will be raises the social upper formation juniors"Shi".
