Learning time is too long, as one of the academic burden has been unable tosolve, which has been studied a lot in Pedagogy, But few of them from the Angle ofsociology of time to reflection and criticism on it. People tend to ignore learning time,as a kind of social factors, ignoring their influence on academic achievement. Thisresearch from the Angle of sociology of time concept and analysis dimensions definelearning time, constructing learning time and learning achievement of sociologicalinteraction, and interpretation and analysis being carried out on the student to researchinto the gap between urban and rural areas with that theory.It is the time that reflect the logic of collective action,which has a history andsociology significance. From the perspective of the history study time to present theexperience from system design to the prescriptive system design of social evolution.From the sociological perspective analysis, learning time and performance under thedifferent social form works. Under the rural experience field, learning time is irregular.Under the Urban industrial background, the present institutional schedule orientationstudy time. However, regardless of urban and rural areas, competition study coveredstudy time consciousness. Based on the above analysis, and judgment, This researchhas selected higher grades students, teachers and parents from11urban and ruralelementary school in S city and Y county in J province for studing time differencesbetween urban and rural areas and the investigation and analysising of the impact onacademic performance.This investigation shows that Rural students in theunderstanding of learning time, learning time in class consciousness, study halllearning time and learning at home of time students are weaker than urban students.Data analysis shows that Learning time and consciousness there is significantcorrelation with academic performance, and urban and rural students in the learningtime and learning time consciousness there is gap, at least, the difference of quantityand has influence to the grades of the gap between urban and rural areas.For study time trigger learning achievement gap between urban and rural areas,and baseing on the time of sociology theory, this article puts forward twocountermeasures:the first of which is for students, parents and teachers learningnotions of time discipline; the second of which is to design scientific and reasonable system and the system of school time. Currently studying time concept in urban andrural areas are not mature enough, which should be improved.In contrast, ruralstudents, parents, teachers and society need to strengthen more improvement on this.
