The Study Of The Core Competence Of Local Key Universities

As one of the important parts of China's higher education system, the local key universities have their particular social function and historical mission. Therefore, it is an unavoidable project for researchers to study the core competence of local key universities from the perspective of scientific development. Taking The Core Competence Theory as its analytical frame, this thesis, on the one hand, discusses the connotations and characteristics of the core competence of local key universities, analyses the situations of the core competence of local key universities, on the other hand, studies the countermeasures to cultivate and promote the core competence of local key universities.The thesis consists of five chapters.The first chapter elaborates the rationales for selecting the present study, the significances of the present study as well as the research thought and methods used for the present study etc. This chapter also summarizes the researches of other scholars.The second chapter elaborates the basis and concept of the theory about the competence. This chapter focuses on the concept and characteristics of the core competence.The third chapter mainly researches the core competence of universities and discusses the fundamental elements and functions of the core competence of universities.The fourth chapter analyzes the situations of the core competence of local key universities. This chapter aims to study the cultivation and promotion of the core competence of universities.The fifth chapter makes a conclusion. And the author takes a glance into the future about this research.
