Since China joined WTO, China has been connected closely with western countries. English seems to be very important as the most major communicative language. Now, English teaching has begun at elementary school. However, after all, English is not our native language. A large amount of students fall behind in English after entering junior schools and there are more and more English backward students. How do English teachers help these students in trouble?Traditional English teaching in the past hasn't satisfied the need of modern teaching theory and stopped the increase of English backward students. This paper attempts to introduce reflective teaching theory to English teachers, which can help English teachers explore a new teaching method that is suitable for the English teachers themselves and their backward students. EITM (easy and interesting teaching method) created from reflecting teaching theory is a good way to improve their English.The paper falls into five parts. In the preface, it shows an introduction of the paper. In Chapter 2, it gives a historical review of reflective teaching theory. Meanwhile, Chapter 2 presents the successful English teaching research based on reflective teaching theory and the importance of reflective teaching theory on backward students teaching. In Chapter 3, it introduces EITM in detail. In Chapter 4, the effectiveness of EITM has been verified through the experiment on 56 students taught by the author herself. By comparing the results of the mid-term and the final English examinations, it is fully proved that EITM is practical for the promotion of backward students' English.
