The Management Strategy For English Backward Students Of Rural Workers

At present, the education problem of rural workers’ children already has causedsocial attention. Education for children of rural workers has many problems, learningEnglish is a major difficulty. At last, the backward students in English appear.According to teaching practice, the author tries to put forward some solution toimprove the English level of rural workers’ children.The first part talk about the definition of English backward students of ruralworkers.then the author analyzes the characteristics of rural workers’ children. Finally,author proposed the problems of the backward students in English.The second part talk about the reason of English backward students of ruralworkers.The author analyzes from four aspects: students, teachers, family andsociety.Because of the lack of learning motivation, personality, poor study habits,they cause English learning difficulties; Because of the lack of schools facilities,shortage of teachers,they also affect English learning. Because of the poor physicalcondition, it also affects English learning. Finally, social factors also restrict Englishlearning.The third part, the author from three respects of teachers, family and society putforward to the improving way. First of all, the teacher should help the students to buildup the good habits of learning English. Such as confidence of students, learningmethod, and so on. Second, the rural workers should take the responsibility for theirchildren’s education; ancestors also play the important role in education. Finally, weshould improve the living environment, education legislation and social function.Establishing English learning environment is good for this. In a word, we shouldpromote the English backward students ‘ability of rural workers.
