China is a large agricultural nation and have above 900000000 are the farmers. Afterthe reform and open policy, the Chinese countryside has had the earth-shaking change,but the farmer's living standard is somewhat low. In the past years for graduates ofagricultural colleges to teach farmers farming and breeding technology, the promotionof advanced science and technology to farmers, agricultural extension campaign hascreated a corresponding center for rural areas which has played a significant role. Chinarealizes the modernization, the comprehensive construction well-off society, the keypoint realizes farmer's well-off. Presently, our country is carrying on the socialism newrural reconstruction,to raises the farmer living standard, increases the farmer's receive,improves farmer's environment and the quality of life is the urgent matter. But in thepast few years, with the readjustment of the structure of agricultural production, as"small government big services," the implementation of agricultural extension systemhave withdrawn to the "killing the fish and breaking the net," the role that graduates ofagricultural colleges ,particularly secondary agricultural vocational school graduatesplay is having a change in the promotion of agriculture.In the process of the study, I will divide China's agricultural education into twoperiods——Tongzhaotongfen period and binggui period. Through the employmentinvestigation on the graduates from agricultural universities, colleges, secondary andvocational school in the two periods, according to work unit and title job, I concludethat the roles that different types of agricultural vocational graduates from agriculturalschool play, and then make the contrast and study on the functions of agricultural andunagricultural parts. I get the different and similar functions of different types ofagricultural vocational graduates from agriculture school in these two periods,and thenmake the contrast on the functions between the agricultural postgraduates from thesecondary vocational school and higher agricultural education or higher college. At theend I get the concision: in the period of tongzhaotongfen, there are differences on theroles of higher agricultural education, college education, secondary and vocationalschool, but the differences are not very evident. The roles of the agricultural graduatefrom college have dimished, and thc roles of the agricultural graduates from thesecondary and vocational school keep diminishing. I put forward to the ways thatenhance the functions of the agricultural graduates from secondary and vocationalschool ,in order to give full play to the roles of the the secondary and vocational schoolgraduates in the promotion of agriculture.
